# Items

Items are a powerful tool that let you fully customize your army. Placing the right units in the right positions is important—but enhancing them with the right boosters can be the decisive factor in battle. *Battle For Blockchain* offers a wide variety of Items, each suited for different situations and strategies, giving players even more control over the outcome of a fight.

### Bentobox

To get items, you will need Bentoboxes. Among the many rewards you receive after a Battle, Bentoboxes are one of them. Bentoboxes, like Items, are permanent, so they won't be wiped after the war.

### Lady Tartella's Shop

Lovely Lady Tartella is always ready to prepare you a warm meal. At this magnificent shop, you can spend $BFB to convert your Bentoboxes into Items. Each Bentobox always provides you with 4 items.

### Item Types

Items are split into 4 rarities, with different odds to get them:

* **Common** - \~55.1%
* **Uncommon** - \~27.5%
* **Rare** - \~13.8%
* **Epic** - \~3.5%

Some items are completely unique, like **Bitter Sweet Blend**, and others have a couple of versions in different tiers, like **Chili Chopper**. Usually, the higher the rarity, the stronger the item. Items of Epic quality can change the entire course of a battle.

There are two exceptions to this rule - **Stomach Bitters** and **Tabula Rice**. These items cannot drop from a Bentobox, and are mostly utility items.
